The Society of Thoracic Surgeons is holding its 56th annual meeting
and exhibition in New Orleans, Louisiana from January 25th
to January 28th, 2020. The program includes lectures, abstracts
and exhibitions from international leaders.
This accredited activity offers concentrated clinical and practice development
discussions by a panel of expert faculty, who will share their perspectives on
best practices to overcome barriers to combat the undertreatment of AFib,
as well as strategies to successfully develop and maintain a thriving AFib
practice. The event takes place on Monday, January 27, 2020, from

ISLAA is a multi-specialty Cardiovascular educational symposium in
North America on the frontier science of left atrial appendage. This topic
is of tremendous interest in the practice of cardiovascular care.
From February 7-8, 2020, ISLAA will offer very informative presentations on the
anatomy, physiology and pathological aspects of the left atrial appendage along
with old and new therapeutic strategies of stroke prophylaxis including
cardiac devices for LAA exclusion.
The 2020 AATS 100th annual meeting brings together many skilled surgeons
from all over the world. The faculty includes over 70 international leaders
in the field, and the program features over 200 invited or submitted
lectures, abstracts, and video presentations. The 100th annual

CAST-AF has attracted an international community of leading
interventional electrophysiologists and cardiac arrhythmia surgeons,

recommendations for the management of the left atrial appendage will
be presented and debated and the results of new LAA occlusion devices will be
discussed. The conference will take place virtually on August 22nd, 2020.
